Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a senior operations and regulatory leader to guide compliance across multiple water treatment facilities in the United States. The role emphasizes data-driven process optimization, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic regulatory oversight.

The position requires extensive experience in water quality, regulatory affairs, and facility operations, with a focus on delivering continuous improvement and high standards of performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (environmental science, engineering, chemistry, or related).
• Minimum 15 years of water/wastewater compliance, regulatory affairs, and process operations.
• Experience with data analytics, QA/QC program management, and lab oversight.
• Advanced degree preferred (MS or MBA); technical MS is highly preferred.
• Background in process operations, engineering, or treatment optimization.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on process controls, troubleshooting, and regulatory interpretation.
• Lead data analytics programs to monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Develop regional regulatory compliance frameworks aligned with SDWA and state rules.
• Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies, facility operations, and leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement across decentralized plant portfolios.
