Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a Senior role to lead operational excellence and regulatory strategy across treatment facilities. You will bridge executive strategy with on-the-ground implementation, driving compliance and performance.

You will guide process controls, analytics, and QA/QC, collaborate with municipal clients and vendors, and steer teams toward elite industry standards. A STEM degree and 15+ years in water/wastewater are required; advanced degrees preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM such as Environmental Science or Engineering.
• 1
• Minimum 15 years in water/wastewater compliance, regulatory affairs, and operations.
• Experience with data analytics, QA/QC program management, and laboratory oversight.
• Advanced degree (MS or MBA) preferred; technical MS is highly valued.
• Background in process operations, engineering, or treatment optimization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory leadership and develop regional compliance frameworks.
• Lead data analytics programs to monitor systems and drive improvements.
• Act as liaison with regulatory agencies, plant teams, and executives.
• Advise on process controls, optimization, and best practices to reduce costs.
• Mentor field teams and drive continuous improvement across facilities.
