Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Senior Regulatory Lead to drive operational excellence and regulatory strategy across the contract treatment facility portfolio. You will bridge executive strategy with on-the-ground implementation to meet water quality and compliance goals.

Responsibilities include leading compliance frameworks (SDWA/state regs), guiding process optimization, collaborating with regulators, facilities teams, and vendors, and promoting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry).
• Minimum 15 years of water/wastewater compliance and regulatory affairs experience.
• Experience with data analytics, QA/QC program management, and laboratory oversight.
• Advanced degree preferred (MS or MBA).

Responsibilities

• Lead operational excellence and regulatory strategy across the contract treatment facility portfolio.
• Provide technical guidance on process controls and water treatment optimization.
• Develop regional compliance frameworks aligned with SDWA and state regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement across decentralized plants and teams.
• Collaborate with vendors, regulators, and municipal clients to align performance goals.
