Job summary

Inframark LLC is seeking a Water Operator I responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in water treatment facilities. The role requires readiness to work various shifts, including weekends and on-call emergencies, with a salary range of $27–$33 per hour based on experience.

Preferred is a Water Distribution I license or the ability to obtain it within nine months, along with strong knowledge of process controls, maintenance procedures, and safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Water/wastewater operator license may be required.
• CDL preferred for driving responsibilities.
• MS Office and internet proficiency expected.
• Willingness to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of equipment and machinery (valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, disinfection equipment, vehicles).
• Performs routine testing and maintenance of wells and unit processes, plus basic lab analyses.
• Documents treatment processes, plant performance and chemical usage.
• Responds to call-outs and after-hours emergencies to repair equipment and instrumentation.
• Ensures facilities are clean, neat, and secure; provides customer service as needed.
• Performs other duties and works on-call schedule.
