Water Operator I (Night Shift)

We're seeking a motivated Water Operator I for our night shift operations team. Licensed operators are preferred, but we also welcome candidates with experience in process control, industrial operations, maintenance, utilities, manufacturing, or those with advanced study in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and operate water treatment equipment, pumps, motors, valves, and related systems.
• Perform routine testing, sampling, inspections, and basic laboratory analyses.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair treatment equipment and instrumentation.
• Document operational data and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Respond to emergencies and support plant operations as needed.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and secure facility.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Water/Wastewater Operator License preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience strongly valued.

Schedule

This position requires working night shifts, including weekends, holidays, and participation in emergency call-out and on-call rotations.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs., climb stairs and ladders, access confined spaces, and work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
