Job summary

Nalco Water, part of Ecolab, seeks an Operations Manager to lead a regional team across Michigan, Indiana and Ohio markets, delivering water treatment operations and customer service excellence.

You will recruit, coach, and develop Site Managers and Field Service Representatives, drive safety, pursue growth opportunities, and ensure top-tier customer satisfaction across assigned sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years mechanical service-related experience and 4+ years sales or leadership experience.
• Ability to lift and/or carry 50 pounds; valid driver's license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 7-12 Field Service Representatives and Site Manager staff.
• Manage multiple sites with field teams.
• Select, train, develop and coach Site Managers and Field Service Representatives for customer retention and account growth.
• Participate in hiring, coaching and performance management to develop future leaders.
• Ensure teams deliver on scopes of work and safety practices.
• Pursue sales and new business opportunities within the territory.
• Coordinate initial services, maintain inventory and perform QA visits.
• Build and maintain customer relationships within the market.
• Drive sales goals and support Retain, Grow and Gain strategies.
