Job summary

CHASE Staffing is seeking a Restoration Technician for the McDonough, GA area. This role focuses on responding to emergencies, performing water extraction and drying, and other restoration tasks from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

A valid driver’s license is required and candidates should be willing to work on-call, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior restoration experience is preferred; IICRC certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations including water damage.

• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment needs to supervisors.
• Maintain open communication with clients and explain the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks including water extraction, drying and site cleanup.

Job description

Chase Staffing is currently hiring a Restoration Technician in the McDonough, GA area. Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm Pay Range: $17

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations including water damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up.

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
