Serclean is seeking a General Laborer / Water Damage Technician in McDonough, GA, to perform restoration tasks and support clients after water-related incidents.

The role requires physical stamina, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work overtime. IICRC certification is preferred, with 1–2 years in structural restoration and 2–4 years in construction and customer service. Health benefits available and a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed and some holidays.
• IICRC certifications in water damage or mold remediation preferred.
• 1-2 years of Structural Restoration experience preferred.
• 2-4 years of Construction experience preferred.
• 2-4 years of Customer Service experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Set up air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers to restore damaged property.
• Work closely with the management team to ensure customers are well taken care of.

• Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites while adhering to state laws and policies.
• Document drying progress using a phone or tablet.

Position Summary

As a Water Restoration Technician, you will be in charge of removing, replacing and repairing water damaged materials and handling any issues caused by water damage. Our technicians are the face of our organization and the first contact a client has after a traumatic situation, which is why our Mold and Water Restoration Technicians need to have good customer service and be willing to help others.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle any issues caused by water damage and remove and replace damaged materials
• Responsible for setting up air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers to restore damaged property
• Work closely with the management team to ensure customers are well taken care of
• Communicate in a friendly and professional manner with teammates and customers
• Follow company policies to maintain safety, quality, and a professional image
• Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites while following all state traffic laws and company policies
• Document drying progress using a phone or tablet

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to work overtime as needed and some holidays
• IICRC certifications in water damage or mold remediation preferred
• 1-2 years of Structural Restoration experience preferred
• 2-4 years of Construction experience preferred
• 2-4 years of Customer Service experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Regular lifting of 50+ pounds.
• Work in crawlspaces, attics, and tight spaces.
• Use of PPE and exposure to water-damaged environments
