Job summary

Serclean is seeking a Lead Mitigation Technician to guide our water damage mitigation projects. You will manage jobsite activity, supervise technicians, ensure safe and efficient work, and maintain strict adherence to IICRC and company standards.

You’ll identify additional service opportunities, coordinate with the sales team for accurate scoping, and model professionalism on every job. A leadership mindset and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of water mitigation experience required.
• IICRC WRT certification strongly preferred.
• Ability to lead a team on active job sites.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/on-call.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Perform water mitigation tasks: controlled demolition, equipment setup, moisture mapping, and jobsite cleanup.
• Identify additional scope needs to mitigation manager and customers as needed.
• Lead on-site operations to ensure safety, organization, and proper workflow.
• Use moisture meters and monitoring tools to track drying progress and document daily.
• Enforce company safety policies and SOPs are followed.
• Operate and maintain a company vehicle responsibly.
• Act as the on-site point of contact for clients.

Position Summary

The Lead Mitigation Technician is a key leadership role within Serclean’s water mitigation team. This position is responsible for managing jobsite activity, overseeing technicians, and ensuring all water damage mitigation projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with IICRC and company standards. The role includes identifying additional service opportunities during projects and working closely with the sales team to ensure scope accuracy and customer satisfaction. The Lead Technician must model professionalism, follow all Standard Operating Procedures, and consistently deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of water mitigation, including controlled demolition, equipment setup, moisture mapping, and jobsite cleanup.
• Identify and communicate additional scope needs to the mitigation manager and customers as needed.
• Lead on-site operations to ensure safety, organization, and proper workflow.
• Use moisture meters and monitoring tools to track drying progress and complete documentation daily.
• Enforce company safety policies and Standard Operating Procedures are followed.
• Operate and maintain a company vehicle responsibly.
• Act as the on-site point of contact for clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of water mitigation experience required.
• IICRC certification in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team on active job sites.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
• Valid Georgia driver's license with a clean record.
• Flexible schedule availability including weekends/on-call.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in varied environments.

Physical Requirements

• Regular lifting of 50+ pounds.
• Work in crawlspaces, attics, and tight spaces.
• Use of PPE and exposure to water-damaged environments.
