Bosun, a growing property restoration company in Northern Virginia, is seeking a Water Mitigation Division Manager to lead its water mitigation operations. You will oversee the division’s performance, coach a high-performing team, manage emergency projects, ensure safety and quality, and drive profitability through strong field and admin collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and developing teams in restoration or emergency services.
• Strong water mitigation and restoration knowledge from start to finish.
• Experience overseeing field operations and multiple active projects.
• Understanding of water extraction, drying, moisture monitoring and docs.
• Experience with insurance carriers and adjusters; strong communication.
• Proficiency with Xactimate and Symbility estimating software; MS Office.
• Ability to manage costs, labor, equipment, and profitability.
• Calm, decisive leader with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing water mitigation team.
• Oversee launch, execution, and profitable completion of projects.
• Manage day-to-day field operations; ensure staffing, scheduling, and documentation.
• Monitor sites for safety, QC, and consistent execution.
• Resolve complex issues with owners, insurers, adjusters, vendors, and team.
• Communicate with carriers, adjusters, and program specialists.
• Collaborate with estimating, reconstruction, and admin teams for smooth handoffs.
• Track performance; drive ROI and profitability of the division.
• Identify workflow improvements and opportunities for productivity.
• Leverage restoration tech platforms for scheduling and project tracking.
