Job summary

Inframark seeks a Meter Reader to accurately read residential and commercial meters for billing, identify issues, and report leaks or damages. You will perform reads, re-reads, and service connection tasks while maintaining clean equipment and following safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, basic MS Office and GPS skills, and a customer-service mindset to support reliable community water services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet.
• Ability to work with numbers and perform basic calculations.
• Basic map reading and GPS skills; ability to read meters.
• Clear communication and teamwork; safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Accurately reads and records meters for billing.
• Check and report inoperable meters or damaged boxes.
• Report leaks or damage to facilities.
• Meter re-reads and connects/disconnects of water service.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and equipment.
• Follow safety policies and PPE use.
