Job summary

Aqua, Inc. is hiring a Meter Reader to accurately read water meters on assigned routes using handheld devices. You will assist with service orders, replace meters when needed, and keep work areas tidy while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Experience in water utility field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Read and record water meters for billing with handheld devices.
• Check meters and report inoperable or missing boxes; replace meters as needed.
• Assist with service orders and meter replacements.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and company vehicles.
• Represent the company with customers, delivering courteous service.
• Document all work activities and close work orders per guidelines.
