Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a self-starter to lead multi-regional water infrastructure projects for AWS data centers in the Americas. You will coordinate internal and external stakeholders, manage portfolios, report risks and milestones, and drive cost-saving outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a business and technology background with experience working with utilities. The role requires travel up to 30% and a track record of delivering complex water projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years working with government agencies, utilities, land entitlement or permitting entities.
• 5+ years cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicating to leadership.
• Experience with utilities and regional planning agencies.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of water supply and infrastructure strategy for AWS data centers in the Americas.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure teams to develop water sourcing opportunities for large-scale projects.
• Develop and negotiate water and wastewater supply contracts with utilities.
• Analyze water market trends and regulations to identify opportunities for AWS.
