Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a self-starter to join the AWS Water team, pioneering data center water supply and partnering with utilities across the United States.

You will lead the rollout of scalable water projects and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery. The role requires a business and technology background, with proven experience working with utilities and earning customer trust, and a drive to deliver reliable, cost-efficient water solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced degree in Economics, Engineering, Planning, or Business with 5+ years in relevant areas.

Responsibilities

• Support water supply and infrastructure strategy development for AWS data centers in the Americas.
• Collaborate with AWS Infrastructure teams to source water opportunities for large projects.
• Develop and negotiate water/wastewater supply contracts with utilities.
• Monitor trends and regulations to identify opportunities benefiting AWS and datacenter industry.
• Manage water projects to meet plans, deliver cost savings, and show outcomes.
