Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a self-starter to join the AWS Water team to lead large-scale water infrastructure projects across the central and southern US regions, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has both business and technical background with experience working with utilities, and will own portfolio management, risk reporting, and contract negotiations, delivering on time and cost-saving results.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple projects across teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of project experience with government agencies, utilities, land entitlement or site development due diligence.
• 5+ years cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicating to leadership.
• Experience building relationships with utilities and industry stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support water supply and infrastructure strategy for AWS data centers in the Americas.
• Collaborate with AWS Infrastructure teams on water sourcing for large-scale projects.
• Develop and negotiate water and wastewater supply contracts with utilities.
• Analyze trends and regulations to identify opportunities for AWS water programs.
• Manage water projects, tracking progress, risks, and cost-saving outcomes.
