Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Water Infrastructure Engineering Intern to support project data collection, reporting, and basic engineering calculations under supervision. The role includes field observations of construction and entry-level engineering tasks as part of an ABET-accredited program.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Civil Engineering program, have completed 60 hours toward their degree by Summer 2027, and are proficient with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
• Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Water Infrastructure Engineering Intern to join our Atlanta, GA office.

Your Role

• Provide administrative and operations support.
• Compile data and prepare reports related to projects
• Perform engineering calculations under supervision.
• Perform field observations of construction where appropriate.
• Perform such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

About You

• EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate'S or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
• EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).

Special Skills

• Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases.
• Math skills to perform simple calculations; willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation (preferred)

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
