Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Landscape Architect Intern for our Atlanta, GA office. The role includes design development, drawing preparation for landscape and site design, and on-site support to ensure design intent is maintained.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an ABET-accredited Landscape Architecture program with at least 60 hours completed by Summer 2027 and basic computer skills including AutoCAD, SketchUp/Rino, Photoshop, and InDesign.

• No experience required; seeking students in Associate's or Bachelor's in Landscape Architecture.
• Must have completed 60 hours toward Landscape Architecture degree by Summer 2027.
• Basic computer skills to enter data; familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp/Rino, Photoshop, and InDesign.

Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Landscape Architect Intern to join our Atlanta, GA office.

Your Role

• Project feature design development and Illustrative presentation graphic support
• Prepare construction drawings for both landscape and general site design including layout, grading and hardscape
• Provide support during the construction phase of landscape architecture projects, including coordination with contractors, site visits, and ensuring design intent is maintained.
• Support project team members in the design of projects of varying scales and types.

About You

• EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate'S or Bachelor's degree program in Landscape Architecture
• EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards a Landscape Architecture degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• SPECIAL SKILLS: Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases. Basic understanding of AutoCAD, SketchUp/Rino, Photoshop, and InDesign.

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
