AtkinsRéalis seeks an ITS & Traffic Engineering Intern – Summer 2027 in Henderson, NV to join our team. You will support data compilation, report preparation, and assist with design plans and traffic signal models using CAD tools.

Job description

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an ITS & Traffic Engineering Intern – Summer 2027 to join our Henderson, NV office.

Your Role
  • Provide administrative and operations support.
  • Responsible for the compilation of data and the preparation of reports.
  • Utilize computer software such as CAD (MicroStation and/or AutoCAD) to produce schematics, drawings and design plans.
  • Assist with preparation of design plans and traffic signal models
  • Coordinate within organization unit to ensure consistency with policies and procedures.
  • Participate in group meetings, both project and organization related
About You
  • EXPERIENCE:
    • No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate'S or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
  • EDUCATION:
    • Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
  • SPECIAL SKILLS:
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
    • Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation (preferred)

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
