Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Water & Hydraulic Engineer to join our Akron or Cincinnati teams, focusing on wastewater collection, stormwater, and water distribution projects. You will model systems, evaluate designs, and help grow our municipal practice in the Ohio region.

The role emphasizes collaboration, independent judgment, and adherence to Arcadis' safety standards. Qualifications include SWMM/InfoWorks ICM experience, GIS skills, and an engineering degree with EIT preferred.

Qualifications

BS or MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering preferred.
SWMM and/or InfoWorks ICM experience required.
EIT certification or ability to obtain within 1 year preferred.
Internship or related experience with engineering consulting or municipal projects beneficial.

Responsibilities

Perform hydraulic modeling and analyses for wastewater, stormwater, and water distribution systems.
Assist with scope definition, planning, and feasibility studies; prepare reports and cost estimates.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure quality and timely deliverables.
Engage with industry associations and contribute to technical publications or presentations.
