Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company is seeking a Technical Support Representative III to deliver frontline technical and customer support for Water Heating products. You will assist customers with operation, installation guidance, troubleshooting, warranty inquiries, and parts identification while ensuring exceptional service.

The role supports Rheem North America from a main office, with on-site 2-4 days per week across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience supporting and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or electronic equipment.
• Call center experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend technical instructions and product documentation.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and apply technical information to customer situations.
• Basic ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to customers on operation, maintenance, and parts identification.
• Offer detailed technical guidance including fault finding and installation recommendations.
• Track product failure trends and notify management when appropriate.
• Document support activities in the ticket system and ensure timely resolution.
• Notify manager of issues involving critical customers or product field failures.
• Assist customers to ensure a positive experience.
• Develop and update service manuals and parts lists.
• Provide training to colleagues as directed by management.
• Perform other duties as required.
