American Water in Lombard, IL is seeking a Technician, Field Operations to perform field service duties across water distribution systems. You will install, maintain, and repair infrastructure, read meters, and document field data, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

and possible weekend shifts. Operates company vehicles and equipment, adheres to safety protocols, and communicates effectively with customers to resolve service issues.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical coursework in industrial maintenance, mechanical or electrical systems preferred.
• 0-2 years of related field/utility work experience is typical.

Responsabilidades

• Drive and operate company vehicles and equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair water distribution infrastructure.
• Read meters and record field data accurately.
• Investigate and resolve customer service issues professionally.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.
• Work with operators, maintenance personnel, and contractors.
