Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain water and wastewater facilities, including remote pump stations. You will perform lab analyses, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical equipment, and work in varied weather.

Schedule: Sun–Thu, 2:00pm–10:00pm with overtime and on-call duties. Requirements include a high school diploma or vocational training, municipal infra experience, and a valid IL driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school or vocational training with mechanical/electrical instrumentation courses.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of municipal infrastructure.
• Must follow safety policies and able to work safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water and wastewater plants and remote pump stations.
• Perform laboratory analyses and adjust treatment as directed.
• Work in inclement weather; respond to emergencies.
• Participate in on-call rotation on weekends, holidays, and outside normal hours.
