Job summary

Garver LLC in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Water Engineering Intern to join our in-office team for the summer. You will work with experienced water professionals on real-world projects, gaining design experience in a fast-paced, professional setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or biosystems engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Internship Description:

• Work alongside and be mentored by experienced water professionals and industry leaders.
• Gain real-world environmental and civil engineering experience through assisting with a wide array of water projects.
• Receive training from our experienced water staff and project managers.
• Gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry.
• Visit some of Garver’s Water project sites.

Work Environment

This is an in-office position; duties and responsibilities are generally performed in an office setting. Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work and work-related tasks or to attend meetings may be required.
