Job summary

Garver’s Water Team in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Water Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience in design within a collaborative office setting.

You will be mentored by experienced professionals, work on diverse water projects, and participate in Garver Launch activities, wellness programs, and community volunteer initiatives. Prioritizes growth and real-world industry exposure.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or biosystems engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Internship Description

• Work alongside and be mentored by experienced water professionals and industry leaders.
• Gain real-world environmental and civil engineering experience through assisting with a wide array of water projects.
• Receive training from our experienced water staff and project managers.
• Gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry.
• Visit some of Garver’s Water project sites.

Garver Launch Program

• Engage daily with fellow Garver Launch interns and industry professionals to build your network.
• Participate in Garver's acclaimed wellness program, empowering you to prioritize your overall well-being.
• Give back to your community through volunteer activities as part of our Garver Gives initiative.

Requirements

• Candidates must be pursuing a civil, environmental, or biological/biosystems engineering bachelor’s degree in an ABET accredited program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit.

Work Environment

This is an in-office position; duties and responsibilities are generally performed in an office setting. Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work and work-related tasks or to attend meetings may be required.
