Job summary

Town of Eagle seeks a full-time Water/Wastewater Operator to maintain and operate the town's Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection Systems at the Eagle facilities. You will work with booster pumps, valves, hydrants, leaks, meters, and plant facilities, coordinating with contractors and Utility Billing.

The role requires a Colorado driver’s license, insurability, a high school diploma, and a clean background. On-call rotations, overtime, and potential snow plowing duties are included.

Qualifications

• Requires 1-3 years related construction experience and/or training.
• Certifications for Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection are required or must be obtained within specified timelines.
• Valid Colorado Driver's License and be insurable under Town standards.

Responsibilities

• Responds to water main breaks and sewer backups; notifies residents when services are interrupted.
• Maintains and operates water distribution system; booster pumps, valves, hydrants, tanks, and plant facilities.
• Maintains and operates wastewater collection system; mains, manholes, and contractor coordination.
• Locates town utilities for various departments and utility companies.
• Coordinates meter reading and installation with Utility Billing.
