City of Eagle Grove is seeking a Wastewater Operator to join the Sewer Department in maintaining and operating our Grade 4 Water Reclamation Facility. You will work with the Wastewater Superintendent and lead operator to ensure proper plant operation and assist with lift station upkeep.

Responsibilities include sampling, lab tests, and equipment maintenance, plus support for public works tasks. A Grade I/II/III/IV wastewater license progression is expected within defined timelines, with overtime

• Knowledge of operation of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards associated with wastewater treatment and safe practices.
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures.
• Ability to work with others in a team setting.
• Willingness to work in inclement weather and be on-call for emergencies.

Mansioni

• Assist in operation and monitoring of the water reclamation facility and wastewater plant.
• Collect wastewater samples and perform lab tests as directed.
• Perform routine maintenance of plant equipment and facilities.
• Read meters, record readings, and monitor plant processes.
