Job summary

Town of Eagle Public Works seeks a Maintenance Technician/Equipment Operator I or II to handle routine and seasonal street maintenance. The role includes snow plowing, equipment operation, and general upkeep of roads and rights-of-way.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Colorado driver’s license; for II, 2–5 years of street maintenance and a CO Class B CDL are expected. On-call shifts and weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Valid Colorado driver license and satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• Ability to obtain CO Commercial driver’s license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform snow plowing, cindering and routine street maintenance.
• Assist with heavy equipment operations, road maintenance, and traffic signs.
• Be available for on-call snowplow and emergency duties as needed.
