Job summary

Veolia North America seeks a Water Distribution Technician to operate and maintain our water distribution system. You will install, inspect, and repair mains, hydrants, valves, and meters, respond to alarms, and document all activities in logs and work orders.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of distribution experience, and NJ licenses; a driver’s license is required with CDL-B preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in water distribution operations, sampling and valve operation.
• NJ License Class W1 preferred; valid NJ driver’s license required; CDL Class B preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, replacement, repair, and maintenance of water mains, hydrants, valves, and meters.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain water distribution facilities and equipment.
• Respond to alarms and service requests; perform meter readings and changes.
• Read, record, and maintain documentation and work orders accurately.
