Aqua America, Inc. in Mentor, OH is seeking a Distribution Technician to support the operation, maintenance and construction of water distribution facilities.

You will work on mains, hydrants, valves, service lines, and booster stations, completing work orders and documenting activities in our system. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid US driver's license, and relevant licenses/certifications such as CDL-A and OEPA Class I Distribution License or the ability to obtain them

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license is required.
• CDL-A or ability to obtain one within bargaining unit timeframes.
• OEPA Class I Distribution License or ability to obtain within specified timeframes.
• Competent person certification or ability to obtain within specified time period.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and operate water distribution systems including mains, hydrants, valves, and service lines.
• Read and interpret maps, drawings, and GIS data; document activities and close work orders.
• Perform field service, meter reading, and maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with OEPA and PUCO regulations and company safety policies.
• Be available for on-call nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
