Job summary

Ardmore Roderick is seeking a Force Account Design Engineer to join our Chicago team. The role involves reviewing facility protection plans, coordinating with the City of Chicago OUC, and enforcing water management standards in design documents.

You will develop construction drawings for water facilities and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders. This position is located at the client’s Chicago location with potential hybrid work depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or other applicable engineering specialty.
• Minimum of 3 years applicable experience in water or environmental projects.
• PE licensure and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review EFP issued by City of Chicago OUC.
• Examine plans for impacts to DWM facilities.
• Design and produce construction documents for adjustments of water distribution facilities.
