Job summary

BELFOR Holdings Inc. is seeking a Water Mitigation Technician to support client loss mitigation efforts. The role involves pumping, mold remediation, and equipment operation under supervision, with occasional travel and night/weekend work. Strong safety and MSDS knowledge are essential.

The position requires handling of various extraction and drying systems, containment setup, and proper debris removal, while protecting client properties and following BELFOR standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with water pumping and mold remediation.
• Able to operate equipment under supervision.
• English language literacy.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs+

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from team leader.
• Know and follow MSDS protocols for chemicals used.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and keep vehicles clean.
• Demonstrate mastery of BELFOR damage processes and documentation.
• Under supervision, operate listed equipment (scraper, trawl, extractors, pumps).
• Build containment systems using Neg Air and HEPA vacuum.
• Use cleaning solutions and debris removal techniques in confined spaces.
• Use lifting techniques and protect client belongings.
• Remove vapor barriers and install mitigation systems (Injectidry, Directed-In).
• Comply with BELFOR standards to safeguard client property.
• Occasionally travel and work at night or on weekends.
• Attend required security training and BELFOR operations.
