Job summary

BELFOR is hiring for a Water Damage Technician role in Mobile, AL. This position provides operational support in mitigation efforts, including pumping, extraction, and mold remediation, under supervision.

The role involves various BELFOR equipment, safety protocols, and occasional travel, nights, and weekends to meet project deadlines. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of pump systems, strong work ethic, and the ability to work under time constraints while maintaining customer service

Qualifications

• Must be able to identify consumables, usage and disposal requirements with training.
• Knowledge of various pump systems and related safety protocols.
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR policy.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from team leader and follow MSDS protocols.
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections; keep vehicles clean.
• Demonstrate mastery of BELFOR water damage procedures and equipment.
• Under supervision, use scraper, rinse rod, extractor and drying systems.
• Build containment using Neg Air, HEPA vacuums and proper calculations.
• Use cleaning and disinfecting solutions; remove debris from confined areas.
• Use lifting techniques and protect client belongings; travel at times.
• Attend BELFOR safety training and operate in compliance with standards.
