Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a Water Damage Technician in Mobile, AL, to assist with mitigation efforts for clients. You will operate pumps and extract water, perform mold remediation, and handle containment and drying equipment under supervision, ensuring safety and compliance.

Role requires physical ability, adherence to procedures, and occasional night/weekend work with travel as needed. BELFOR offers competitive pay and a broad benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) with match.

Qualifications

• Must be able to identify product usage and disposal requirements with training.
• Knowledge of pump systems is required.
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR policy.
• Demonstrate urgency, professionalism and a strong work ethic.
• English language literacy and fluency.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from team leader and execute tasks.
• Follow MSDS protocols for chemicals used in mitigation.
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.
• Demonstrate mastery of BELFOR’s Water Damage procedures.
• Under supervision, use extraction equipment and containment systems.
• Build containment systems using NEG Air and HEPA methods.
• Use cleaning and disinfection solutions to remove debris in confined areas.
• Protect client belongings and use proper lifting techniques.
• Report time and equipment usage accurately and timely.
