Job summary

ServiceMaster of South Shore Inc is seeking a Water Restoration Technician to monitor, inspect, and complete tasks for water restoration jobs, ensuring proper drying, demolition, and restoration activities. You will prepare notes, photos, and documents for insurance reimbursements and explain processes to customers in person with printed guides.

The role involves coordinating with supervisors, loading equipment, and maintaining quality control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in restoration or construction preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read and follow label instructions.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve work orders, check route, load equipment and arrive on site.
• Explain processes and next steps to customers using printed materials.
• Complete assigned jobs per company processes while ensuring quality.
• Perform water damage repair including water extraction, pack-out, demolition as directed.
• Ensure equipment and vehicles are properly handled and report malfunctions.
• Inspect jobs after completion, obtain signatures, and request payments when needed.
• Monitor and adjust the drying plan based on meter readings.
• Communicate issues and activities with supervisor and staff.
• Prepare documentation and photos for insurance reimbursement.
