Job summary

BELFOR in Waipahu, Hawaii, is seeking an operations support role focused on water damage mitigation. The candidate will pump and extract water, remove mold, move and re-set contents, and set drying equipment using BELFOR protocols.

Under supervision, you will use various equipment, build containment, apply antimicrobial treatments, and ensure safety of vehicles and personnel. Travel nights/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Must identify consumables, usage and disposal with training.
• Knowledge of various pump systems required.
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR policy.
• Must demonstrate urgency, professional demeanor and positive attitude.
• English language literacy and fluency.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from the team leader and follow them.
• Know MSDS protocols for chemicals used in mitigation.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and keep vehicles clean.
• Demonstrate mastery of the BELFOR Water Damage procedures.
• Use scraper, extractors, and other equipment under supervision.
• Build containment systems with appropriate calculations and equipment.
• Use cleaning solutions and debris removal techniques in confined areas.
• Use proper lifting techniques and protect client belongings.
• Remove vapor barriers, install systems (Injectidry/Octi-Dry), label recoverables.
• Comply with BELFOR standards to safeguard property.
• Travel and work nights/weekends as required.
• Report time worked and equipment used timely and accurately.
• Attend required BELFOR safety trainings.
