Belfor Environmental in Hawaii is seeking a Water Damage Technician to provide operational support in mitigation efforts including pumping and extracting water, mold remediation, and setting up drying equipment. You will operate multiple specialized tools under supervision and ensure safety, equipment maintenance, and client property protection.

The role requires English fluency, ability to follow MSDS protocols, and willingness to travel nights and weekends as needed.

Qualificações

• Must be able to identify consumables, usage and disposal requirements with training.
• Must have knowledge of various pump systems.
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR's vehicle policy.
• English language literacy and fluency.

Responsabilidades

• Receive instructions from team leader.
• Know and understand MSDS protocols for chemical products used during mitigation.
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.
• Demonstrate mastery of the BELFOR water damage procedures.
• Under supervision, use the scraper, rinse rod, trawl, extractor and water extraction unit.
• Build containment systems with appropriate calculations and equipment.
• Use cleaning and disinfecting solutions and debris removal techniques in confined areas.
• Use proper lifting techniques and protect client belongings.
• Install Injectidry, Directed-In and Octi-Dry systems and manage meters.
• Comply with BELFOR standards to safeguard client properties.
• Demonstrate knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
• Work under time constraints to meet deadlines and may travel nights/weekends.
• Provide timely time-work reports and equipment usage details.
• Attend BELFOR operations and required security training.
