Job summary

BELFOR Holdings Inc. is seeking an intermediate Water Damage Specialist to lead a residential and small commercial water damage team in the Nashville area. The role requires hands-on supervision, proficiency with water extraction equipment, moisture testing, and adherence to IICRC standards.

Travel, night and weekend work are possible as part of interval projects. Candidates must have at least 12 months of BASIC water damage experience, participate in multiple projects, and mentor junior

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
• Working knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
• Carry current IICRC WRT designation.
• Familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage Book.
• Proper use of meters and IR camera; understanding of affected vs unaffected building materials.
• Demonstrate ability to draw a sketch, read floor plan, complete a Moisture Content Log and a Pychrometric Log.
• Understand air mover calculation and LGR dehumidification chart.

Responsibilities

• Direct the water damage team and coordinate with supervisor.
• Review project requirements and document progress with field records.
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts, and sketches for projects.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain equipment.
• Ensure compliance with BELFOR standards and protect property.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and time-management.
• Travel and night/weekend work as needed.
• Record time and materials accurately.
• Attend required BELFOR operations and safety training.
