Job summary

Stantec is seeking a full-time Construction Field Inspector to support our Water US South team. This role focuses on on-site inspection, safety oversight, and coordination among engineers and contractors to ensure adherence to designs.

The position emphasizes field activities, travel across the region, and extensive documentation, including daily reports and test results. A valid driver’s license and drug/background screens are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Pre-employment drug screen and client background checks required.
• Ability to travel extensively within the region with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site safety representative and maintain a safe working environment.
• Liaise between engineer and contractor and coordinate activities.
• Oversee testing and maintain project documentation.
• Monitor construction progress and resolve issues with design teams.
• Attend field meetings and report discrepancies or deviations.
