Black & Veatch is seeking a Project Director to drive business growth in Texas, leading client development and staffing for major water and non-water projects. You will collaborate with leadership to recruit top professionals, retain talent, and capture market share for public agencies and utilities.

As an employee-owned firm with a strong ESOP culture, you will shape strategy, manage budgets, and mentor teams while expanding our presence in municipal and federal sectors across the Texas market.

Qualifikationen

• 20+ years in business development and project management for water/wastewater.
• PE license required; Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• Strong sales traits and ability to manage multiple clients and contracts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Contract negotiation skills and understanding of budgets and financial metrics.
• Self-starter with the ability to lead teams and meet deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Establish and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Develop new business and drive market growth in Texas and surrounding regions.
• Provide project oversight with Engineering Managers across the full breadth of solutions.
• Lead marketing, strategy, proposals, client presentations and contracting.
• Represent Black & Veatch to promote brand in the water industry.
