Job summary

HDR is seeking a senior leader for the Water Business Group to drive technical quality, project delivery excellence, and professional practice across the organization.

The role aligns practice groups, strengthens delivery capabilities, and advances standards that improve client outcomes while positioning HDR as a leader in the global architecture marketplace. The position reports to the WBG President and supports strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in engineering or related field.
• Experience leading professional services, program management, or delivery teams.
• Active participation in AEC industry associations is expected.
• Commitment to employee-owned culture and HDR values.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor development and training of staff in technical and service delivery competencies.
• Drive delivery excellence, QA/QC, and continuous improvement programs.
• Coordinate with operations, marketing, and technology leadership to advance delivery strategies.
• Support recruiting, staffing, and development of key personnel.
