Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a motivated Coordinating Activity Watch Officer to join our team in Doral, FL. The role focuses on monitoring enterprise networks, logging and escalating critical incidents, and coordinating rapid operational responses with cross-functional teams.

The candidate will draft executive summaries and maintain logs and baselines, while driving process improvements to emergency response protocols within defense or intelligence environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in watch officer or command center operations OR master’s with 3+ years OR associate’s with 7+ years OR high school diploma with 9+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor enterprise operational networks, communication channels, and threat management systems to maintain continuous situational awareness.
• Receive, log, prioritize, and escalate critical alerts and information requests across theater command centers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams, watchstanders, and leadership to coordinate rapid operational response efforts.
• Draft, publish, and disseminate daily executive summaries, operational spot reports, and incident notification briefings.
• Maintain watch logs, operational baselines, shift handoff documentation, and SOP references.
• Track system outages, network statuses, and mission-critical capability metrics.
• Recommend and implement continuous process improvements to streamline watchstander workflows and emergency response protocols.
