The role requires six years in activated sludge operations, two years supervisory, and preferred SCADA experience, with responsibilities including data coordination, budget input, and coordinating outside contractors. The position is on-site with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of experience in activated sludge wastewater treatment.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in biology, microbiology, chemistry, or related fields preferred.
• SCADA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Wastewater Treatment Plant and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Coordinate data, prepare reports, and budgets.
• Direct maintenance programs and coordinate outside contractors.
• Review construction drawings and technical specifications and recommend changes.
• Communicate with the public regarding sewer-related issues.
