Qualifikationen

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of water/wastewater experience, preferred.
• 40-hour work week: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30 pm (30-minute lunch).
• Must be willing to participate in an on-call roster resulting in periodic work after hours sometimes including weekends and holidays.
• Overtime as required.
• Driver’s License
• CA Wastewater Treatment Grade 3 License minimum.

Aufgaben

• Perform critical testing of facility operations (PH, DO, chlorine) to monitor system condition.
• Complete Discharge Monitoring Reports as required by permits.
• Perform preventative maintenance on treatment plant equipment and pumps.
• Maintain complete, accurate records of all operations and maintenance.
• Prepare monthly written operating reports for clients or regulatory agencies.
• Inform supervisor of plant problems and expansion or repair needs.
• Adhere to EH&S policies and report safety hazards.
• Be part of a 24-hour on-call rotation.
• Discuss plant operations professionally with employers, clients, visitors, or regulators.
• Collect samples, log them correctly, and review lab results for permit compliance.
