Job summary

Saur Services (Glasgow) Ltd in Fairfield, CA is seeking a Mobile Wastewater Operator to operate and maintain municipal or industrial wastewater facilities. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of wastewater experience, a CA Wastewater Treatment Grade 3 license, and availability for a 40-hour week with on-call duties,

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of water/wastewater experience, preferred.
• 40-hour work week: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30 pm (30-minute lunch).
• Must be willing to participate in an on-call roster resulting in periodic work after hours sometimes including weekends and holidays.
• Overtime as required.
• Driver’s License and CA Wastewater Treatment Grade 3 License minimum.

Responsibilities

• Perform critical testing of facility operations (pH, DO, chlorine) and monitor system conditions.
• Complete Discharge Monitoring Reports as required by facilities permits.
• Maintain records of all plant operations and maintenance.
• Operate plants to meet regulatory guidelines and responsibilities.
• Assist maintenance with pumps, blowers, motors, valves and related equipment.
• Work weekends and on-call shifts as required.
