Veolia in North America seeks a Wastewater Plant Operator to operate and maintain treatment equipment, ensuring water quality meets permit and operational requirements. You will perform routine operations, sampling, and basic lab tasks, read meters, and control panels, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will work in a team environment, support shift operations, and participate in on-call rotations as needed to ensure continuous plant performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years experience in water/wastewater treatment.

Responsabilités

• Operates plant processes including primary and secondary treatment and related equipment.
• Reads meters, gauges, logs and records readings; maintains logs and performs routine maintenance.
• Trains and directs other operators; performs minor repairs and cleaning duties.
• Assists in sampling, lab tests and process control to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Responds to on-site issues and supports safety and environmental policies.
