Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; biology/chemistry coursework preferred.
• 0-2 years’ experience in mechanical, industrial, environmental, or utility work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine operations and maintenance tasks at the wastewater facility and assist with equipment operation.
• Assist with monitoring biological, chemical, and physical treatment processes and related control systems.
• Maintain accurate plant records including logs, worksheets, test results, and chemical feed data.
• Load and unload chemicals following safety procedures; maintain inventory levels.
• Inspect mechanical equipment and perform minor maintenance and repairs as assigned.
• Collect samples and perform routine laboratory tests under supervision.
• Respond to alarms and coordinate with supervision for corrective actions.
