The role involves working at water and wastewater treatment facilities, with training offered for eligible applicants and a compensation package aligned to experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or higher.
• 1+ years of experience preferred.
• Willing to train if Grade II not held.

Responsibilities

• Control equipment and monitor processes that remove or destroy contaminants from wastewater.
• Run tests to ensure processes operate correctly.
• Keep records of water quality and plant operations.
• Operate pumps and motors within filtration systems and adjust as needed.
• Read meters/gauges to confirm equipment functionality and safety.
• Take samples and test to determine water quality.
• Add chemicals safely and monitor dosage as required.
• Use computerized systems to monitor plant processes.
• Maintain compliance records and respond to alarms.
