Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a Wastewater Operator to monitor and control treatment systems, collect samples, and ensure regulatory compliance at the facility. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and hands-on maintenance across 12-hour night shifts.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google equivalent.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
• Ability to make process changes based on lab data and general process knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and climb ladders up to 30 feet.
• Ability to work both day and night shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete operational coverage of the wastewater facility during scheduled shifts (primarily 12-hour night shifts).
• Operate and control motors, pumps, and valves to regulate flow; collect and test wastewater samples and determine concentrations.
• Analyze lab data and implement process changes to prevent non-compliance; maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with operators, facility, and management to maintain equipment and determine optimal treatment methods.
• Complete preventative maintenance and assist with minor repairs; compile daily/weekly/monthly reports for Veolia and regulators.
