Job summary

Teasdale Latin Foods is looking for a Wastewater Technician in Carrollton, TX to monitor wastewater discharges, maintain water/waste treatment materials, and ensure all equipment and safety procedures are followed. You will read and record data, operate pumps and forklifts, and contribute to environmental inspections.

The role requires handling lab instruments such as pH meters, with at least two years in a lab or wastewater setting.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have experience handling lab instruments such as pH meters and scales.
• At least two years of full-time work experience in a lab environment or wastewater treatment.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, write simple correspondence, and effectively present information.

Responsibilities

• Monitor hourly and daily volume of wastewater discharges and ensure parameters (pH, EC) are within specifications.
• Maintain materials and supplies for Water/Waste Treatment areas.
• Monitor wastewater discharge system operations and keep records.
• Keep water quality monitoring equipment calibrated and reliable.
• Conduct and document environmental inspections as required.
• Demonstrate safe work behavior and follow operating instructions.
