Job summary

North Texas Municipal Water District is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to plan and supervise maintenance across wastewater facilities and related systems. You will lead teams, manage work orders, and ensure asset condition and water quality while upholding safety standards.

You will develop preventive maintenance plans, review logs, and coordinate responses to emergencies, ensuring reliable services for the North Texas region.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree or trade cert preferred.
• Four years in industrial maintenance or equivalent experience.
• CMRT certification and CMRP certification within 3 years are preferred.
• Texas Driver’s License required; district vehicle operation will be needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, perform, and supervise wastewater facility maintenance and asset care.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate staff; enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Create work orders, monitor repairs, and perform root cause analyses.
• Maintain records, coordinate shutdowns, and respond to emergencies.
